Justin Bieber - Justin Bieber At War With Paparazzi Over 100Mph Chase
Earlier this year, the teen heartthrob was alleged to have roughed up a photographer outside a shopping mall, and even took to Twitter last month to tell followers that the paparazzi were hiding in the bushes while he attempted to enjoy a round of golf.
However, the latest incident is by far the most serious, as others could have been harmed after a high speed chase on the freeway in Los Angeles.
The pop singer has filed a complaint against a photographer who allegedly chased him, causing him to reach excessive speeds. According to the Associated Press, the pursuit was so dangerous that police pulled Bieber over and cited him for driving at more than the 65mph speed limit (he was reportedly reaching speeds of 100mph).
A 911 call obtained by Tmz.com indicates that at least three photographers were chasing the star. Bieber is heard to say, "They just will not stop following me.They're the ones who are driving reckless, and I'm just trying to have them not be on my tail".
Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine said he witnessed the chase, saying the episode was "very bizarre, very outrageous and showed a total disregard for life and property". At the time, Bieber was driving his new Fisker Karma electric sports car, which he was presented with by manager Scooter Braun for his 18th birthday.
