'Dark Knight’ composer writes song for victims of shooting

The Dark Knight Risescomposer Hans Zimmer is reaching out in his own way to help victims and residents of Aurora, Colo., heal from the theater shooting during a screening of the film on its opening night.
Zimmer, who has scored all three of director Christopher Nolan's Batman movies, has produced a song to benefit the victims of the July 20 theater shooting.
On his Facebook page, Zimmer writes

Aurora is dedicated to those who lost their lives and were affected by the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado. I recorded this song in London in the days following the tragedy as a heartfelt tribute to the victims and their families. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Aurora Victim Relief organization.
The track is available on iTunes and MoonToast as well, Zimmer says. Prosecutors today formally charged James Holmes with 12 counts of first-degree murder for the movie-theater shooting that killed 12 and injured 58 others.
