Katie Holmes Breaks Down At Lunch With Suri!

We reported earlier how the mother-daughter duo hit up Alice’s Tea Cup restaurant in NYC with some of Katie’s friends. Now, we’re hearing that everything wasn’t all sunshine and whimsical times for Tom Cruise’s ex!
An onlooker reveals that at one point during the lunch, Katie had a 15 minute chat on her phone in a corner of the restaurant and seemed “flustered and upset” while speaking.
Oh no…we wonder who she could’ve been talking to?? Could it have been Tom?!
Holmes soon dried her eyes and returned to the table after the intense convo.
The witness says Katie put on a brave face and a “big smile” for Suri, before heading to the giftshop to cash in on some souvenirs for her six year old.
So sad! Stay strong, gurl!
We hope Katie is doing alright but are glad that she didn't get upset in front of her daughter. It sounds like she's doing a pretty good job of shielding her from all of the mess that is going on!
